State-of-the-art Motion Control

The IR-820C controller is the brains behind the IR-820’s mechanical muscle. Advanced trajectory planning algorithms let you blend multiple moves together smoothly for enhanced throughput.

Use Ethernet or RS232 to communicate with the controller – the simple but powerful command set uses plain English (like “pick” and “place”) for the most commonly used commands. A programmable software layer simplifies emulation of your existing command set to speed integration into existing tools.

Eight user inputs and eight outputs (expandable) allow you to monitor and control external devices.

The controller makes use of a maximum number of high-reliability, off-the-shelf parts, and minimizes custom components. The result – increased reliability and reduced cost.
